Sunglasses {review + giveaway} from Sunglass Warehouse

{review + giveaway}
Sponsored by :

Summer is (finally!) in full swing here and the sun is beating down like there is no tomorrow. Now this would be the ideal time to head to the beach and have some fun, but not without investing in a good pair of sunglasses first!

Perhaps even a pair of gorgeous gold aviator sunglasses ...

SW Aviator Style #68044
$14.95

Earlier this week I received a package that made my squinting eyes water with relief. A pair of beautiful Aqua Fashion Style sunglasses from Sunglass Warehouse !!!

These sunglasses have got to be the best I've ever had. They are sturdy, well made, and protect my sensitive little eye balls by blocking both UVA as well as UVB rays. I love how the lenses aren't too dark so I don't have to constantly take them off when I step into the shade which tends to happen with most other glasses I've tried for the same price. The color is very retro, very punchy, and the silver detailing on the side makes them look like a million bucks! The quality of the sunglasses from Sunglass Warehouse it definitely top notch and their customer service gets two thumbs up as well. One of my favorite features on the website has to be their guides for choosing frames to suit your face shape and your skin tone, very helpful stuff!
Sunglass Warehouse has a pair of sunglasses for everyone! The styles range from Driving Sunglasses to Kids Sunglasses and even Goggles. They also have every trend imaginable covered, from Rock Star Sunglasses to Sports Sunglasses as well as Aviator Sunglasses  and many more. The color selection is fabulous to say the least, with many styles coming in several different colors, you are sure to find the perfect pair for you.

I will definitely be recommending the Sunglass Warehouse to anyone looking for a new pair (or two) of affordable sunglasses and will be purchasing all future pairs from them myself.

Peshtemal {review + giveaway} from The Peshtemal Shop

{review + giveaway}
Sponsored by :

Today I would love to share with you a fantastic Etsy shop based out of Mugla, Turkey that specializes in a traditional Turkish bath cloth called the Peshtemal. I received my very own and very beautiful Turquoise/White Peshtemal to try earlier this month. Besides coming in virtually every color, Peshtemals can be used for just about anything ... they're great as beach towels, swim suit cover ups, picnic blankets, bath towels, and can even provide a soft impromptu change pad for baby.

$45.00

This summer has provided several occasions to use my Peshtemal and I could not be happier with the way it has performed as a beach towel/cover-up. The Peshtemal is super light which is great for long strolls on the beach or shoreside camping trips, these towels also absorb just as quickly as conventional terry towels (wash first to achieve this), and they dry very quickly which is a must for camping. Everyone wants to know where I got my Peshtemal and mine seems to be 'borrowed' whenever I'm not looking! I absolutely love my Peshtemal and have taken it with me on just about every outing so far this summer and used it as a beach towel after swimming, a picnic blanket at the park, even a cover-up at a beach concert. The Peshtemal comes in pretty well every color imaginable and look amazing in person, they're much too pretty to stick in a linen closet so when not in use I drape mine over an armchair in the living room.

A Peshtemal is a fantastically affordable gift idea for any occasion including birthdays, housewarmings, or as a hostess gift. I highly recommend The Peshtemal Shop to anyone looking to revamp their linen collection or looking for linens to complete their at home spa experience.

The Pestemal Shop would love to send one lucky winner their choice of Peshtemal!

{Mother's Day} Mondetta Performance Gear {review + giveaway}

{review + giveaway}
Sponsored by :

Do you know a mom who is looking to get back in shape after her first child, or third child? Or maybe you're like me and shudder when you think of the fast approaching bathing suit season! Well this year's round of belly toning and butt lifting just got a little bit easier thanks to the amazing array of active wear from Mondetta Performance Gear (MPG). Earlier this month I received a hearty package from MPG containing Sway Pants in Black, Capture Bermuda Shorts in Black, and a Minx Jacket in Black. Exercising has never been as fashionable or as comfortable, MPG's line of women's active and lifestyle clothing has definitely brought back some of the 'feel good' to my workout routine that was missing with other brands. MPG's clothing is comfortably fitted, breathable, and doesn't impede your motion. The quality of the clothing is also top-notch, I have no fear of a busted seam with the Sway Pants or the Capture Bermuda Shorts, and the light weight yet durable Minx Jacket will be my go to for jogging for several seasons to come, if I can keep it away from my sister!

Fist up was the Minx Jacket, which I have been wearing almost daily for quick errands and walks since I received it. The jacket is warm when you're standing still but breathes when your moving which is a must for me as I tend to warm-up quite quickly. When jogging, the high collar and thumb-hole sleeves adds an extra level of comfort, keeping our morning drizzle and wind at bay which makes my morning routine more enjoyable on grey days.

Next were the Sway Pants which have got to be some of the comfiest pants I've ever worn. They're a casual fit for yoga, dance, and 'me time', but they look smart enough when paired with some of my graphic tees for popping over to a friend's house. An easy to follow size chart helped me to quickly find my perfect size the first time, one of my pet peeves is having to send clothes back that don't fit! These Sway Pants are fun to wear and provide full range of motion for Yoga routines, they also keep you looking good while you sweat it out!

And last but not least are the Capture Bermuda Shorts. These shorts are great for those looking for a bit more coverage or who want a pair of shorts that can fit either a high or low impact workout. While the weather is still a bit chilly the Capture Bermuda Shorts are now part of my jogging ensemble along with the Minx Jacket. Like the Sway Pants, the Capture Bermuda Shorts move with you and provide a very comfortable aspect to any workout. The length is perfect and the drawstring waist makes sure these shorts stay put during those downward dogs!

All in all I am very impressed with Mondetta's line of Performance Gear. And I highly recommend the performance gear from MPG to anyone who makes fitness a part of their daily routine or busy moms (because that's a routine all in itself!) who are looking for comfort and style. MPG's clothing is definitely a cut above the rest and well worth the price. (As of today their Women's Essentials are 25% off and you can also checkout their Clearance Section for more fantastic deals.)

The story behind Mondetta's founders is just as amazing as their clothing, and manifests itself as the Mondetta Charity Foundation. The Mondetta Charity Foundation (MCF) is a completely separate entity from the Mondetta Clothing Company; however it is very much a part of Raj Bahl's (VP Sales), Ash Modha's (CEO), Prashant Modha's (VP Finance), and Kish Modha's (VP Administration) vision to give back by dedicating a portion of the proceeds from the garments sold through their Mondetta Clothing Company.

Here's a little bit more about the Mondetta Charity Foundation :

From our beginning, we have dedicated a portion of the proceeds from every garment sold to various arts and athletic organizations in North America. Performing artists and athletes continually prove the human body is capable of incredible feats when the heart is wholly behind it, although their profession is not often recognized for the dedication it requires. By lessening the high costs associated with the physical arts, MPG helps those with drive receive the resources they need to continue.

The Mondetta Charity Foundation (MCF), a completely separate entity from the Mondetta Clothing Company, has been established to provide assistance to ease some of the suffering in Africa due to devastating problems such as AIDS and the ravages of povertyNearly forty years ago, two families left East Africa as both immigrants and refugees to eventually find their way to Winnipeg, Manitoba where they began to rebuild their lives and establish new roots.

In 1970, Raj Bahl, VP Sales, immigrated to Canada from Nairobi, Kenya, at the young age of three, along with his parents and siblings. Though recollections of his experiences in Kenya are blurred and clouded by the passage of time, his memories are kept alive through the stories told to him by his parents and various family friends who shared a similar experience.

In 1972, under the dictatorial rule of President Idi Amin, Ugandan citizens of Asian descent were forcibly expelled from the country, given 90 days notice to leave the only home they had ever known. The Modha family, including Ash, President and CEO, Prashant, VP Finance, and Kish, VP Administration, was one of thousands of families to leave the part of Africa known as the “Cradle of the Nile” and forge new roots in foreign lands.

The Mondetta Charity Foundation was created on the mandate that all operating and administrative costs would be born by the parent company thereby allowing all donations to be utilized in a strictly charitable capacity.

CLOSED {Mother's Day} Rejuvenating Masque {review + giveaway} from Systeme 41

{review + giveaway}
Sponsored by :

I recently received a much anticipated sample of Systeme 41's all natural Rejuvenating Masque, a two-in-one gentle scrub and soothing masque. My skin has always frustrated me when it came to finding a cleanser that was gentle enough for my sensitive skin but had enough scrubbing power to lift the impurities from my pores. And the Rejuvenating Masque from Systeme 41 does just that. This masque can be used as a quick cleanser on a Friday, or as a 20 minute refreshing masque on a Monday night. The Rejuvenating Masque is Paraben Free, Gluten Free, and Hypoallergenic so it can be used on virtually all skin types.

$129.95

My face is smooth and hydrated, and has been reaction free since I started using the Systeme 41 Rejuvenating Masque several weeks ago, which is a very welcome first for me! The masque does a thorough job of removing pesky dead skin and provides a refreshed feeling that is fantastic for a mid-week pick me up. I would definitely recommend Systeme 41's Rejuvenating Masque to anyone who's looking for a gentle exfoliation and calming cleanser in one.

Here's a little more about the Rejuvenating Masque from Systeme 41 :
